Look at these criminally cute and addictively tasty cookie bites! Sweetened with molasses and cinnamon with a kick of nutmeg, they are perfect with a glass of dairy free milk. Or as a sweet afternoon snack with your favorite hot beverage!

  • Cake Flour Cake Flour 240g 2 cups
  • Baking Powder Baking Powder 2 tsp 2 tsp
  • Ground Cinnamon Ground Cinnamon 1.5 tsp 1.5 tsp
  • Ground Nutmeg Ground Nutmeg 1/2 tsp 1/2 tsp
  • Vegan Butter Vegan Butter 115g 1/2 cup
  • Brown Sugar Brown Sugar 100g 1 cup
  • Molasses Molasses 170g 1/2 cup
  • Vanilla Extract Vanilla Extract 1/2 tsp 1/2 tsp


  1. 1.Preheat oven to 180c.
  2. 2.Combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon and nutmeg to a medium mixing bowl and whisk to combine.
  3. 3.Combine melted butter, 2/3 cup brown sugar, molasses and vanilla in a large mixing bowl and whisk to combine.
  4. 4.Add dry ingredients to wet ingredients and stir to combine. Wrap with cling wrap and refrigerate for 30min.
  5. 5.Add 1/3 cup brown sugar to a flat bowl.
  6. 6.Roll 1 tbsp dough into a ball and roll in sugar, gently press to flatten and place on a parchment lined baking sheet, sprinkle with sugar and repeat process until dough is finished.
  7. 7.Bake for 10 to 12min until cookies form cracks and edges are cooked. Allow to cool for 10min on a cooling rack.
