Strawberry and Banana Ice Cream

  • Strawberries Strawberries 200g 1 & 1/3 cups


  1. 1.Make sure to you use ripe bananas – the riper the better! - and to let them stay for at least 6 to 10 hrs into the freezer.
  2. 2.When the time for your ice-cream break has come, take the frozen bananas out of the freezer and put them into a blender of a food processor.
  3. 3.Start blending at increasing speed (from slow to medium-slow) for 2-4 minutes adding also the frozen strawberries and 1-2 tbsp of water if needed. Do so until you have a silky-smooth and creamy texture and voilà: your soft and delicious 100% fruit ice cream is ready to serve, maybe with some mint leaves, or chia seeds to garnish.
  4. 4.You can also add blueberries or cranberries instead of strawberries, to try different tastes and colours as well!
