One of Turkey's favorite appetizer or meze dishes, this traditional hummus dip incorporates tahini, garlic and is spiced with paprika and biber salcasi. A delicious vegan and gluten free spread with a wonderfully spicy kick! Quick and super easy to prepare!

Ingredients

* Switch between cup/oz and g/ml in Account Settings*

  • Chickpeas in Water Chickpeas in Water 250g 1 & 1/4 cups
  • Tahini Tahini 2 tbsp 2 tbsp
  • Garlic Garlic 2 cloves 2 cloves
  • Biber Salcasi Biber Salcasi 2 tbsp 2 tbsp
  • Smoked Paprika Smoked Paprika 1 tsp 1 tsp
  • Lemon Lemon juice of 1 juice of 1
  • Table Salt Table Salt to taste to taste

Instructions

  1. 1.Drain the chickpeas. Peel the garlic.
  2. 2.Blend all the ingredients in a food processor.
  3. 3.Add 1 or 2 tbsp of water if necessary or until desired consistency.
