Creamy Oats with Chia Jam and Pecans

What better way to start the day than with a warming, nourishing bowl of creamy oats, pecans and blueberries. Incredibly easy and quick, this morning oatmeal bowl is packed with nutrients thanks to also featuring superfoods - chia seeds and hemp hearts. A breakfast staple if ever there was one, try it out this week!

Dairy Free High Protein Under 30 mins

Ingredients

* Switch between cup/oz and g/ml in Account Settings*

  • Rolled Oats Rolled Porridge Oats 90g 1 cup
  • Coconut Milk Drink Coconut Milk Drink 500ml 2 cups
  • Crunchy Peanut Butter Crunchy Peanut Butter 1 tbsp 1 tbsp
  • Blueberries Blueberries handful handful
  • Strawberry Chia Jam Strawberry Chia Jam 1 tbsp 1 tbsp
  • Pecan Nuts Pecan Nuts handful handful
  • Hemp Hearts Hemp Hearts 2 tbsp 2 tbsp
  • Xylitol Xylitol 1 tsp 1 tsp

Instructions

  1. 1.Place the oats in a pan with the coconut milk and turn up the heat to medium.
  2. 2.Allow the oats to warm but remove from the heat before they over-cook.
  3. 3.Place the oats in a bowl and add the remaining ingredients.
  4. 4.Serve immediately.
  5. 5.*Note: You can also soak the oats overnight in the coconut milk for added creaminess, but not essential!
