Grilled Garlic Asparagus with Lemon

This simple and quick recipe of well-cooked asparagus with a dressing of olive oil, garlic and lemon makes for a great vegan appetizer or side dish! It‘s healthy, low carb and yet extremely rewarding!

Ingredients

* Switch between cup/oz and g/ml in Account Settings*

  • Asparagus Asparagus 200g 1 & 2/3 cups
  • Lemon Lemon 1/2 1/2
  • Garlic Garlic 3 cloves 3 cloves
  • Olive Oil Olive Oil 2 tbsp 2 tbsp
  • Table Salt Table Salt 1/4 tsp 1/4 tsp
  • Ground Black Pepper Ground Black Pepper pinch pinch

Instructions

  1. 1.Preheat the oven to 180C.
  2. 2.In a large bowl, toss the asparagus with all the other ingredients.
  3. 3.Transfer the asparagus spears onto a baking dish, spread them evenly and place the lemon slices and crushed garlic on top.
  4. 4.Bake for 10 minutes until the edges of the asparagus spears have turned slightly golden and crispy.
  5. 5.Remove from the oven and serve warm.
