Chocolate and Banana Overnight Oats

A vegan breakfast combining cocoa-flavored oats sweetened with maple syrup and served with sliced banana and superfood flax seeds and pumpkins seeds. Rich in protein, potassium, fiber and omega-3, it's a wonderfully healthy and tasty breakfast!

Ingredients

* Switch between cup/oz and g/ml in Account Settings*

  • Rolled Oats Rolled Porridge Oats 135g 1 & 1/2 cups
  • Flax Seeds Flax Seeds 2 tbsp 2 tbsp
  • Cocoa Powder Cocoa Powder 1 tbsp 1 tbsp
  • Almond Milk Almond Milk 375ml 1 & 1/2 cups
  • Vanilla Extract Vanilla Extract 1/2 tsp 1/2 tsp
  • Sea Salt Sea Salt pinch pinch
  • Maple Syrup Maple Syrup 1 tbsp 1 tbsp
  • Banana Banana 1 1
  • Pumpkin Seeds Pumpkin Seeds 6 tbsp 6 tbsp
  • Sunflower Seeds Sunflower Seeds 2 tbsp 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. 1.*For best results, prepare this recipe at least 4 hours before serving.*
  2. 2.Place all ingredients (excluding the banana) in a medium-sized bowl and stir to combine.
  3. 3.Place oats mixture in a jar with a lid and refrigerate for 4 to 8 hours, preferably overnight.
  4. 4.In the morning, top with sliced banana, and garnish with seeds of choice (optional).
  5. 5.Eat it cold, or warmed up.
  6. 6.Enjoy!
