Blackberry and Apple Oat Crumble

This delicious crunchy crumble is our favorite kind of meal - dessert for breakfast! Why can't breakfast be outrageously yummy! Our crumble combines oats, blackberries, apple, blueberries, nuts and maple syrup to produce a dairy free and protein-rich crumble that will go down a storm at the breakfast table!

Dairy Free High Protein

Ingredients

* Switch between cup/oz and g/ml in Account Settings*

  • Blackberries Blackberries 210g 1 & 1/2 cups
  • Blueberries Blueberries 225g 1 & 1/2 cups
  • Apple Apple 1 1
  • Jumbo Oats Jumbo Oats 90g 1 cup
  • Mixed Nuts Mixed Nuts 135g 1 cup
  • Coconut Oil Coconut Oil 1 tbsp 1 tbsp
  • Maple Syrup Maple Syrup 1 tbsp 1 tbsp
  • Ground Cinnamon Ground Cinnamon 1 tsp 1 tsp
  • Chia Seeds Chia Seeds 1 tbsp 1 tbsp

Instructions

  1. 1.Melt the coconut oil in a pan over a very low heat.
  2. 2.Add the oats, nuts, cinnamon and maple syrup to the pan and combine all the ingredients together.
  3. 3.Slice the apple. Place the fruit in a baking dish and spread evenly.
  4. 4.Pour the crumble topping on to the fruit.
  5. 5.Bake for 20 mins at 180°.
  6. 6.Serve immediately with a spoonful of creamy plant-based yoghurt.
